Sosogu LLC, (“Sosogu” “we,” “our,” or “us”) manages and licenses all of the Sosogu restaurants. It’s important to Sosogu to help our customers retain their privacy when they take advantage of all the Internet has to offer and Sosogu is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our customers and users (“your” or “you”) who visit our locations and interact with us online, including through our website https://www.sosoguramen.com (the “Website”), participants in our loyalty club, and users of our other services and restaurants’ Takeout Orders, (collectively, the “Services).

We have drafted this Privacy Policy to provide you with information on our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information (as defined below).

When you visit our Website use our Services or interact with us through other online media and advertisements, information about your visit and/or interaction is automatically logged though the use of various tracking tools like browser cookies and web beacons. We may automatically collect personal information through our Website and these tools, including the following:

If you decide to register and create an account with us, you will be able to select the kinds of information you want to receive from us by subscribing to various services, like our electronic newsletters. If you do not want us to communicate with you about other offers regarding Sosogu products, information or services by email, postal mail, or telephone, you may select the option stating that you do not wish to receive marketing messages from Sosogu.

As noted above in Information We Collect, we may use cookies or similar online tracking tools to collect information. Sosogu is committed to protecting your personal information. We have in place reasonable precautions to protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction. While we make efforts to protect our information systems, no website, mobile application, computer system, or transmission of information over the internet or any other public network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

CHILDREN’S INFORMATION

We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 years old, please contact us using the information provided in Contact Us below. We will delete such information within a reasonable time.

CUSTOMER PROFILES

As mentioned above, every registered customer has a unique personal profile. Each profile is assigned a unique personal identification number, which helps us ensure that only you can access your profile.

When you register, we create your profile, assign a personal identification number, then send this information back to your hard drive in the form of a cookie, which is a very small bit of code. This code is uniquely yours. It is your passport to seamless travel across www.sosogu.com, allowing you to quickly purchase products without having to fill out registration forms with information you’ve already provided. Even if you switch computers, you won’t have to re-register – just use your Registration ID to identify yourself.

LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

Our Services may contain links to third party websites. If you click on a third party link, you will be taken to a platform we do not control. As noted above in What Personal Information We Collect & How We Collect It, under the CCPA, we do not collect any personal information that may be considered “sensitive personal information.” The CCPA requires that we provide you with a right to limit our use or disclosure of such sensitive personal information in certain circumstances. Currently, we are not using your sensitive personal information for purposes that would require that we provide you with a right to limit.

California Resident’s Rights

The CCPA provides consumers with specific rights regarding their personal information, subject to applicable exemptions and limitations. Specifically, consumers may have the right to:

How to Exercise Your Rights

Below, we describe the different ways in which you can submit requests to exercise your rights under the CCPA.

Requests to Know, Requests to Delete and Right to Correct

We are required to provide certain information, delete personal information, or to correct inaccurate personal information only in response to verifiable requests made by a California resident or their legally authorized agent. When you submit a Consumer Rights Request to, we may ask that you provide clarifying or identifying information to verify your request. Such information may include, at a minimum, depending on the sensitivity of the information you are requesting and the type of request you are making, your name and email address. Any information gathered as part of the verification process will be used for verification purposes only.

You are permitted to designate an authorized agent to submit a Consumer Rights Request on your behalf and have that authorized agent submit the request through the aforementioned methods. In order to be able to act, authorized agents have to submit written proof that they are authorized to act on your behalf or have a power of attorney. We may deny requests from authorized agents who do not submit proof that they have been authorized by you to act on your behalf. We may also require that you directly verify your own identity with us and directly confirm with us that you provided the authorized agent permission to submit the request.

Other California Privacy Rights

Shine the Light

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits California residents to request annually, free of charge, information about what personal information Sosogu disclosed to third parties, including affiliates, for direct marketing purposes. If applicable, this information would include a list of the categories of personal information that was shared and the names and addresses of all third parties with which Sosogu shared information in the immediately preceding calendar year. California residents may make such requests in writing at the information provided in Contact Us below.

Do Not Track

Our Website currently recognizes “Do Not Track” signals. Do Not Track is a privacy preference that you can set in your web browser to indicate that you do not want certain information about your webpage visits collected across websites when you have not interacted with that service on the page.
